Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to join our team!
MAIN FUNCTION : Integral member of the Behavioral Health patient care staff who, under the direction of an RN or other professional staff, assists in maintaining a therapeutic milieu and provides direct and indirect patient care through a variety of modalities including programming.
NATURE AND SCOPE: This position is responsible for the provision of task related, therapeutic interventions and programming, which support the overall plan of care developed collaboratively with the patient and the Registered Professional Nurse, and the multidisciplinary team.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
LICENSURE:
- Certified training (CPR First Aid, CPI, therapeutic options, etc.)
- CNA, PCT of BHT certification preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 year of experience with Behavioral Health, Developmentally Delayed, Substance Abuse, Community Service and/or security preferred

Pay: $16.90 - $22.34 per hour
