What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Aide - Full Time 7a-3p position at Niagara Hospice?
The Hospice Aide is responsible for assisting the licensed staff by performing various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patients and family/visitors. The position also requires the execution of various light housekeeping activities. The Hospice Aide is expected to adhere to established facility policies and procedures regarding the facility’s mission, environment, safety and infection control standards.
Schedule Details:
- Full Time - 5 days / week 7 AM - 3 PM
- 37.50 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation (Sat & Sun)
Required Qualifications:
- High School Education or Equivalent
- Current HHA or CNA Certification
- Six (6) months experience in Acute Care, Skilled Nursing, Adult Home or Home Care
