JOB DESCRIPTION:
Knowledge of business and economic development process including outreach, project feasibility and eligibility, financial analysis, program development, grant and loan applications and project proposals is required. The candidate should have excellent written and oral communication skills and marketing and sales acumen and must have Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Should be proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat
DUTIES:
· Project Manager-
o Project Origination
§ Attend retention visits with local companies
§ Interact with regional economic developers
§ Respond to site broadcasts
§ Assist with the presentation and/or promotion of Agency projects through face to face and/or virtual presentations, website promotions, outside agency events, tradeshows, etc.
§ Field telephone calls and emails regarding NCIDA incentives and financing
o Incentive calculations/offers
o Public Hearing Officer
§ Prepare public hearing documents
§ Hold public hearings
o Grant/Loan applications
§ Identify grant opportunities for agency and companies
§ Work with grant writer to apply for relevant funding streams
§ Liaison with agency consultant(s) and Niagara County
o Develop new programs as needed
o Participate in annual reporting relative to project and agency information
o Attend annual economic development conferences and participate in continuing education
o Spearhead new initiatives that promotes agency
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
