What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Music Instructor - Aural Skills position at niagaracc-suny?
SUNY Niagara has a need for a part time Music Instructor for our Aural Skills I course.This course is taught in person in a classroom setting on our Sanborn, NY campus. This course deals with aural perception, audiation, sight-singing and dictation training of rhythm, melody and harmony. Class sessions will largely consist of individual and group participation activities to build training in aural perception. Instructional methods will also include listening examples and outside practice.Remuneration for this position is: $915 per lecture hour/$819 per lab hour.In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates to meet our present and future needs for this position, SUNY Niagara will accept applications on a continuous basis. Openings may or may not exist at this time. Applications are evaluated on an as-needed basis, and candidates will be contacted when the department has an opening.
