What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Music Instructor - Introduction to Sound position at niagaracc-suny?
SUNY Niagara has a need for a part time Music/Theatre Instructor for our Introduction to Sound course.This course is taught in person in a classroom setting on our Sanborn, NY campus. This is a lecture-demonstration-laboratory-performance and operation course. The content areas include responsibility of an audio engineer, principles of sound, equipment, all aspects of audio production from pre-production through post-production.The practical experience would be provided through participation in one or more of the productions presented in the theatre space (not limited to theatre productions) and any other available relevant audio related productions that may happen throughout the semester.Remuneration for this position is: $915 per lecture hour/$819 per lab hour.In order to build and maintain an active pool of qualified candidates to meet our present and future needs for this position, SUNY Niagara will accept applications on a continuous basis. Openings may or may not exist at this time. Applications are evaluated on an as-needed basis, and candidates will be contacted when the department has an opening.
