JOB SUMMARY
NIC Global, an automotive supplier for the truck sector is actively seeking for an energetic and detail-oriented person for their Quality Inspector in Paint position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring parts are painted properly according to customer specifications and NIC’s quality standards. This position will, among other duties, visually inspect the product on a Powder Coat line for defects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Follows standardized procedures to perform first part, final and receiving inspections on a wide variety of parts.
- Makes disposition of rejects and provides constructive feedback for quality improvements.
- Assist in loading or unloading parts when required.
- Ability to troubleshoot as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection procedures.
- Use of testing equipment to determine paint thickness.
- Comply with all health, safety, and environmental procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school level education or equivalent.
- Able to pass a color vision screening.
- Desired experience in industrial paint applications.
- Industrial manufacturing environment experience a plus.
- Availability to work planned overtime when needed.
- Works well in a team environment.
PHYSCIAL DEMANDS
Although not a frequent requirement of the position, it may be required at times to lift objects up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.
Standing for 8 (5 d/w) on concrete floor in a non-climate-controlled facility.
Salary : $22 - $25
