Job Overview:
General Summary: In conformance with established policies and procedures perform the job duties and responsibilities as listed below. The primary duties of this position may be changed and or modified because of developments that affect the short-term and long-term plans and strategy of NIC. The Graphic Design II position will be responsible to execute a wide variety of graphics ranging from infographics to text-based graphics, package design, PowerPoint presentations and compositing for a variety of digital and print media. This position will collaborate with the Creative Design Manager and Marketing Director along with the Marketing Team. The fundamental goals of this position are to collaborate with the appropriate parties to create engaging, well produced print and digital media and content for all brands.

The Graphic Design II Responsibilities Include:
- Creative process regarding designing content including any digital or print promotional material, ad designs, technical material, package design, website images and design, vector designs etc. as requested or needed.
- Support Creative Design Manager and team with assets, edits, and designs for upcoming projects.
- Manage multiple projects at once and prioritize tasks with pressing deadlines and internal needs.
- Maintaining proper asset and file management through efficient best practices allowing for seamless future projects.
- Continue to keep up with the latest trends of design and technology in the social and digital space.
- Uphold brand integrity with images & designs making sure to follow identity standards and keep a consistent look and feel for each respective brand.
Skills & Abilities Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent degree and or 2-4 years of directly related work experience.
- Skilled in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Possess a strong eye for typography and layout in design and be able to create a variety of different graphics from scratch.
- Support Creative Design Manager with assets and designs for upcoming projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be effective in conveying clear feedback.
- Highly creative with a passion for learning.
- A high level of attention to detail and a critical mind and have a “can-do” attitude.
- Ability to be successful and productive while working under time constraints.
- Easy to work with, ability to listen to others input, take direction from others, and work well as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:
- Sitting for extended periods of time daily.
