Position: Estimator
Position Summary:
The Estimator will work with the Preconstruction Manager primarily working on project estimates.
Responsibilities include preparing the subcontractor list, issuing bid invitations, document distribution, preparing quantity take offs, evaluating subcontractor proposals, communicating with subcontractors during the bidding process, and assisting with the preparation of estimates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preconstruction functions including estimating, take offs, and proposals
- Solicit subcontractors to make sure there is proper coverage on a project
- Analyze and scope subcontractors to establish consistency among proposals
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs
- Participate in pre-bid meetings
- Assist with the preparation of the estimate and scope of work
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to collaborate on a regular basis with the project team
- Generate and distribute meeting minutes
- Advertise potential projects to bidding subcontractors
- Attend pre-bid site-meetings with potential clients and subcontractors
Experience Needed
- 2 years of estimating in commercial construction
- Healthcare and Lab experience

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
A benefit program includes medical insurance and 401 K options as well as a bonus structure.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
