Quality Control Manager
SUMMARY:
The Quality Control Manager role is responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, evaluating existing processes and identifying areas of improvement, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The QC Manager will also develop quality assurance systems, monitor performance, and provide feedback. They ensure that all products produced meet consistent standards and they supervise and train the quality control department staff.
PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES:
The following lists the principle activities associated with the position of Quality Manager.
- Review reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, daily production quality, root cause analysis, or quality trends
- Review and approve various reports and orders
- Manage personnel issues occurs on the floor and coach staff as needed
- Revise training method as needed
- Collect and analyze monthly data such as production rate, nonconformance issues to report to plant manager
- Promote streamline and efficiency
- Coordinate to collect data from other plants
- Identify and analyze issue, defects, and other problems and recommend and facilitate solutions to these issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Management & calibration of measuring equipment
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related to the products being developed
- Previous experience in related field required with supervisory experience is a plus
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

SAFETY:
- Understand and follow all safety procedures

- Wear all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs)
- Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures for assigned areas.
- Perform duties according to OSHA guidelines, policies and procedures
- Complete General Plan Safety Training within the first 8 weeks
