Reports to: Manager of User Support Services
Position Summary
This graduate assistant position is a 24-month appointment, requiring 20 hours of work per week. The role reports directly to the Manager of User Support Services. It involves assisting in the management and training of help desk student assistants, as well as servicing campus computers and printers. Proposal
- Review, update and implement an extensive training program for help desk assistants, which consists of student workers
- Oversee and delegate responsibilities to the help desk assistants to ensure progressive accomplishment of assigned tasks and the daily schedule of jobs
- Develop quality assurance standards that help desk assistants must adhere to
- Desktop support, as needed, which includes supporting PC, laptops, classroom technology, software, etc.
