Orthodontic Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental and medical terminology, infection control, and patient care. Experience with self-ligating appliances, 3D scanners, expanders, and appliances is very desirable.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of orthodontic experience

Responsibilities:
- Assist doctor during patient treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Take and record patients' vital signs accurately
- Utilize 3D scanners for digital impressions and treatment planning
- Manage patient records using Wave software
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols in the clinic
- Support orthodontists in procedures such as braces adjustments and wire changes
Experience:
- Proficiency in dental and medical terminology
- Knowledge of dental care practices
- Familiarity with maintaining aseptic techniques in a clinical setting
- Experience with using 3D scanners for orthodontic purposes
Compensation:
- Dependent on experience

- Looking for part time or full time, to be discussed
