Seeking Orthodontic / Pediatric Dental Assistant in Phoenix, AZ!
We are a Pediatric & Orthodontic Dental Office. We have two locations 92nd St & Shea Blvd & 20th St & Camelback Rd. We are looking for an Orthodontic / Pediatric Dental Assistant who is dedicated to providing the best care possible for patients. We are looking for someone who is motivated and looking to grow their skills. In our office, we provide Pediatric and Orthodontic services to our patients.
Schedule : Full Time
Monday - Friday 7 : 30am - 5 : 00pm

Requirements :
Proven experience as ortho / pediatric dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Duties for our Orthodontic Assistant Include :
Ensuring that all orthodontic instruments and equipment are properly sterilized before each use.
Taking intraoral X-rays of patients’ mouths.
Taking photographs of patients’ teeth to aid the Orthodontist in developing treatment plans and to document patient progress.
Taking dental molds of patients’ teeth for the fabrication of customized mouth guards and retainers.
Removing and replacing wires, coil springs, donuts, and elastic bands.
Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and braces aftercare.
