What are the responsibilities and job description for the FIXED INCOME INVESTMENT ANALYST position at Nicolet National Bank?
As a Fixed Income Investment Analyst, you will be primarily responsible for credit research analyst with exposure to bond trading and portfolio management.
As a Fixed Income Investment Analyst, you will:
Credit Analysis
- Gather relevant information on local municipal credits as well as demographic trends impacting specific communities.
- Understand the underlying debt position and operating dynamics of specific credits that will impact future performance.
- Identify the strengths and weaknesses of local municipal credits.
- Develop an appreciation of nuances of school districts, health care facilities and utility districts.
- Understand the cashflow dynamics of various corporate borrowers.
- Develop specialized knowledge of bank financial performance.
Wealth Investment Management and Analysis
- Maintain and expand bond database to enhance bond analysis processes.
- Prepare presentations and reports.
- Perform investment research with a fixed income focus.
- Assist with trade processing and settlement.
- Identify attractive investment opportunities.
Miscellaneous
- Uphold Nicolet’s philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 1-2 years in conducting credit analysis preferred.
