What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Technician position at Nicollet County?
The Engineering Technician plays an important role in keeping Nicollet County’s 300-plus miles of roads and 72 bridges safe. Job duties include performing field surveys for design and construction operations, detailed road design, preparing construction plans, developing construction project specifications, and performing construction inspection for road and bridge projects.

- An associate’s degree in civil engineering or a related field; and
- 2 years of engineering experience.
