Job Summary

Shift : 1st shift

Days of Work : Monday - Friday

Work Hours : 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm

Work Location : On-site (Mankato, MN)

Starting Salary : $55,000 to $75,000 annually

Pay Frequency : Bi-Weekly

Job Description

Position Objective :

Provide coordination and administration for warranty claims and activities for all of the Nidec Power Americas facilities, ensuring a smooth execution of operations related to those claims. Analyze and process warranty claims to determine level of coverage and best method(s) of support.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities :

• Receive, process, and review warranty claims from customers
• Verify claims' eligibility and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Maintain records of warranty claims, customer information, and resolutions.
• Verify and define company criteria for warranty claims and issues.
• Recognize and identify warranty situations which may result in special circumstances for the resolution of a warranty claim / issue.
• Track and review open claims to determine the proper course of action to bring resolution to claims.
• Analyze warranty data to track and identify patterns, trends, and recurring issues.
• Implement and communicate warranty policy across multiple departments and facilities.
• Work with quality team members to drive corrective actions and improvements based on warranty data
• Work with finance team members to monitor expenses incurred due to warranty claims
• Work with field service team to schedule resources to perform warranty repair as needed.
