What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prefab Wall Technician position at Nielson Construction?
Nielson Construction is a leader in the construction industry. We are seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our company as a part of the Prefab Wall Division. This position will work with other co-workers and managers in a team environment while safely operating hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment. On-the-job training will be provided!

- Follow detailed instructions and guided directions
- Assemble wall panel components
- Haul finished structures to assigned job sites
- Operate commercial equipment and vehicles as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace in compliance with company and OSHA standards
- Maintain accurate timecards and job paperwork
- Experience in framing or carpentry preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of use and the ability to maintain and operate power tools, hand tools, mechanical, building, carpentry, and lift equipment
- Read and understand construction plans as well as tape measure readings
- This position requires: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motion. Must be able to exert up to one hundred pounds of force occasionally, and/or up-to fifty pounds of force frequently.
