Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will include managing the waitlist, greeting guests, delivering menus and utensils and maintaining a smooth flow of service in our restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.

Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow.
- Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.

-Take to go orders
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance guest relations.

Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 – 21 per week
