Hostess Job Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Ascertains their dining needs.
• Seats guests and manages the seating chart.
• Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
• Takes to go and delivery orders and assists in packaging food items.
• Takes phone calls and assists customers and Manager’s needs.
• Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
• Assists others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
• Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.

Responsabilidades laborales del Hostess:

• Dar la bienvenida a los clientes de una manera cálida y amigable.
• Averiguar sus necesidades gastronómicas.
• Sentar a los invitados, ordenar y asignar en el sistema de comensales.
• Supervisa la actividad del restaurante para determinar el flujo de asientos y comensales.
• Toma pedidos para llevar y hace entrega de estos. Ayuda a empaquetar alimentos.
• Recibe llamadas telefónicas y ayuda a las necesidades de clientes y del Gerente y/o supervisores.
• Responde a las consultas y solicitudes de los huéspedes de manera oportuna, amigable y eficiente.
• Realiza tareas de apertura y cierre, según sea necesario.
• Ayuda a otros con trabajos secundarios, incluidos, entre otros, la limpieza, el almacenamiento, el doblado de cubiertos, etc.
• Ayuda a los miembros del equipo y a otros departamentos donde sea necesario para mantener relaciones laborales positivas y el facilitar el flujo de comensales en el restrautante.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
