The Social Media Coordinator reports to the Senior Social Media Manager who is based in the New York Office.
Responsibilities
- Community Engagement: Contributes to proactive and reactive conversations on clients’ social media channels, fostering a vibrant and engaged community.
- Content Management: Posts and schedules client-approved content across their social media channels, with an emphasis on Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Insightful Reporting: Spearheads monthly social media reporting for clients, highlighting business results, successes, key learnings, and opportunities for improvement.
- Trend Identification: Proactively suggests ideas and pinpoints trends, hashtags, the competitive landscape, platform updates, and tools to ensure alignment with our target audience.
- Creative Collaboration: Collaborates with teams across the agency to devise proactive solutions for creating and activating high quality content.
- Data Management: Organizes all content and data for easy access and storage for clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and workflow efficiency.
- Campaign Support & Alignment: Assists creative leads in developing briefs, list building, and outlining strategy and concepts for client campaigns.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 months of social media experience or content creation, internships included, prior agency experience preferred. Minimum of 1 year of relevant coursework or project related experience would be a plus.
- Organizational Proficiency: Excellent time management and organizational skills with experience handling multiple clients or projects at the same time.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills online and in-person. Brand social copywriting experience is a plus!
- Reporting Skills: Familiarity with social media reports tools and services for effective social media reporting, including Sprout Social, TalkWalker, Sprinklr, etc.
- Design Skills: Familiarity with Canva and Google Slides design basics for social media assets and deck presentations.
- Passion & Industry Knowledge: A passion and understanding of the social media landscape, trends, hashtags, music usage, functionalities, and algorithm updates with an emphasis on TikTok and Instagram.
