Nikkiso ACD has the most diversified product line in the industry covering nearly every application requiring pumps or turboexpanders.Job Overview Working within the ACD Project Management department and reporting to the General Manager, the Director, Project Management provides vision, guidance and support for the team’s projects and has final budgetary responsibilities for all projects. The Director, Project Management facilitates the definition of the project scope, goals, and deliverables, and oversees a number of positions in the Project Management department.This position is based in Santa Ana, CA.Responsibilities Lead the planning and implementation of all projectsDefine project tasks and resource requirementsAssemble and coordinate project staff, and develop full scale project plansManage project resource allocationPlan and schedule project timelinesTrack project deliverables using appropriate toolsProvide direction and support to project management teamConstantly monitor and report on progress of all projects to stakeholdersPresent reports defining project progress, problems, and solutionsImplement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputsProject evaluations and assessment of resultsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Qualifications While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. PPEs include safety shoes, safety glasses, face shields, FR clothing, cryogenic gloves, cryogenic apron, cut resistant gloves, safety gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, dust masks and face masks. Failure to comply with ACD safety requirements will result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.Supervisory Responsibility This position has supervisory responsibilities for the project manager and coordinator teams.Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.Experience and Education : Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related engineering field is requiredPMP certification preferred5 years’ project management experience in a team leadership role preferredThe knowledge, skills and abilities listed above are typically acquired through the levels of education and experience listed.
