Help Desk Specialist (temporary 2 months)
Come join Nikola Motor’s Information Technology Team as a Helpdesk Specialist on site at our manufacturing Facility in Coolidge, AZ. Our team culture emphasizes collaboration, communication, and commitment to help us reach our goals in a dynamic startup environment. Please note that although this role is based out of our Manufacturing Facility in Coolidge, AZ., there will be occasional travel to support our HQ location in Phoenix, AZ. Requiring about 20% travel. We work in a field where the technology is changing daily, but that technology will forever change the world as we know it. Get to know a team and a culture who are learning and discovering daily, and who are developing the technology that everyone will know by name in 5-7 years.
Responsibilities
• Troubleshooting user issues related to laptop, network, conference room A/V, and related requests
• Set up laptops and desktops according to our standard configurations
• Resolving Information Technology (IT) Support Requests as needed
• Performing System Testing and Updates as directed
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you’ll need:
• To be comfortable speaking to end users in a professional manner
• Ensure each of our end-users have a positive experience with our team, and their
technology needs each day
• Willingness to learn, take direction and act
What you “must” already bring to the table:
• Experience with Active Directory Account creation and administration
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Teams in a corporate environment
• Familiarity with user administration in the Microsoft O365 productivity suite (Outlook,
Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
• A minimum of a high school diploma is required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
o 3-5 years of IT Service Desk experience in a fast-paced and rapidly changing
environment

• Self-starter, team-player and a collaborative personality
• Ability to work with little or no supervision
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
Candidates must have current U.S. work authorization or be TN eligible from Mexico or Canada. This position is not eligible for CPT or OPT.
