Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow our digital presence and brand recognition. This role will focus on content creation, social media management, marketing campaigns, and community engagement to enhance brand awareness and drive sales. The ideal candidate has experience in digital marketing, social media strategy, and is knowledgeable about cannabis regulations in New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Develop and manage content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn) in compliance with NJ cannabis regulations.
- Create engaging posts, reels, and stories to promote products, educate customers, and build community engagement.
- Monitor trends and adapt content strategies to increase brand visibility.
- Respond to comments and direct messages to foster customer engagement.
- Manage and create relationships with influencers and brand partners.
Marketing & Branding
- Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Ensure all branding and messaging align with the company’s vision and compliance guidelines.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and photographers to produce high-quality visuals.
- Support email marketing campaigns and digital advertisements.
Community Engagement & Events
- Plan and participate in dispensary events, pop-ups, and community outreach efforts.
- Work with local businesses, influencers, and industry partners to expand brand reach.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to improve marketing strategies.
- Review, monitor and manage feedback, comments and customer relations via all digital platforms.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track social media and marketing metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
- Provide reports on engagement, growth, and ROI, adjusting strategies as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Required: Experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cannabis marketing regulations in NJ.
- Ability to create compelling written and visual content.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, analytics tools, and scheduling software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Graphic design and video editing experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut) is a plus.
- Passion for cannabis education and responsible use.
- Other Requirements:
- Extended time sitting, walking, bending, and reaching is possible
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a distance of 50 feet
- Must pass stringent State background test requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Possess valid driver's license or state ID card
