Superintendent - Mechanical Restoration

Summary of Position: Must have HVAC experience

The Mechanical Restoration Superintendent oversees and manages HVAC restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards. This role is responsible for supervising on-site crews, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety compliance, and ensuring effective communication between all project stakeholders. The Superintendent plays a critical role in planning, scheduling, and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle, with a strong focus on restoring structures. A successful candidate will bring hands-on construction experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality restoration services to clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of the client.

· Minimizes exposure and risk on projects.

· Ensures project documents are complete, current, and handled appropriately.

· In conjunction with the Project Manager, coordinates activities of projects, such as planning and preparing work schedules, assigning tasks and delegating work, monitoring progress and workflow, reviewing work for timeliness and accuracy.

· Resolves issues in a timely fashion.

· Manages project budget/expenses.

· Effectively communicates relevant project information.

· Ability to interface with Clients in a professional way to determine Client’s needs.

· Complies with all company standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, as well as applicable local, state, and federal laws.

· Helps Project Manager resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

· Visits job sites as needed.

· Ensure project has competent foreman and workers for the skill sets needed for each project.

· Assist in proper staffing of project.

· Works with accounting to Invoice projects.

· Maintain excellent customer relations as well as being able to assist in building to

· current customer portfolio

· Assists Project Manager with take-off, estimate and bid projects.

· Communicate and maintain a positive relationship between client, facility and customer.

· Sets up and monitors execution of the work.

· Ensures customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

· 4 years of experience in the Construction or HVAC industry

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.

· Ability to work under pressure.

· Ability to oversee and coordinate a variety of people in different roles.

· Ability to read, understand, and execute blueprints, drawings and plans.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal and salesmanship skills.

· Punctuality and attention to detail.

· Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
