Focused on immunology / inflammation, oncology, and metabolic diseases, we are a nimble biotech company with a proven track record of success. Reporting to the Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry, this individual will play a pivotal role in advancing multiple small molecule drug discovery campaigns and will combine scientific decision-making with organizational leadership to drive projects from hit identification to development candidate.
In This Role, You Will :
- Lead multidisciplinary drug discovery chemistry teams in a fast-paced, results-driven biotech environment
- Design, implement and execute robust medicinal chemistry strategies to meet project objectives
- Establish and maintain partnerships to leverage external expertise and resources
- Collaborate effectively various departments, functions, and leadership team members to align on project goals and strategies
- Plan and allocate resources effectively to optimize project outcomes
- Provide strategic, scientific and managerial guidance within an outsourced medicinal and synthetic chemistry framework
- Contribute to the overall scientific direction and success of the organization's current and future pipeline
