Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations and a creative flair for menu planning. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen activities, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current food trends and customer preferences.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen management.
• Collaborate with the food service management team to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area to meet sanitation standards.
• Assist in bartending duties as needed during events or busy service times.

Skills

• Strong experience in restaurant environments with a focus on high-quality food service management.
• Proficient in menu planning, food production techniques, and kitchen management practices.
• Excellent inventory management skills to ensure proper stock levels and minimize waste.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.75 per hour
