What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Roofing Field Superintendent position at Nino Development?
As a Field Operations Manager you will be responsible to lead multiple commercial roofing crews and ensure the highest level of quality, safety, and client satisfaction on every project.
The ideal candidate is an ethical, driven leader with deep expertise in commercial roofing systems and a hands-on approach to field operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience managing multiple commercial roofing crews
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and construction drawings
- Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Built-Up Roofing (B.U.R.), Modified Bitumen, TPO, PVC systems, Sheet metal roof accessories
- Familiarity with job costing systems and email communication
- Experience in construction payroll reporting and daily coordination with management
- Managing final inspections with zero punch list results
Leadership & Work Ethic:
- Demonstrated honesty and integrity, especially when addressing difficult issues
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Commitment to safety compliance and proactive jobsite safety implementation
- Ability to perform weekly Tool Box Safety Talks and enforce all safety policies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily quality control checks on all active job sites
- Ensure all projects are completed to final inspection standards with zero deficiencies
- Maintain daily communication with clients and respond to needs and emergencies promptly
- Schedule and coordinate all inspections with municipalities, clients, and manufacturers
- Actively participate in weekly internal staff meetings
- Keep senior management informed of all relevant project details daily
