Nino Development is seeking a Commercial Roofing General Superintendent to oversee field operations for multiple large-scale reroofing projects, based in Columbus, OH. This individual will supervise up to 8 concurrent projects, ensuring top-quality installation, safety, and on-time delivery.
Our ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with expert knowledge of single-ply roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Mod Bit) and a track record managing crews on projects ranging from $300K to $2M .
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of up to 8 active commercial roofing job sites
- Lead field teams to deliver safe, high-quality work on schedule and within budget
- Oversee installation of TPO, EPDM, PVC, Mod Bit, and other commercial roofing systems
- Coordinate scheduling, material delivery, equipment, and workforce allocation
- Ensure OSHA compliance and enforce all safety protocols on-site
- Conduct quality checks and ensure projects meet company standards and client expectations
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Estimators for efficient project execution
- Provide mentorship and guidance to foremen and crew members
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in commercial roofing field operations, with at least 2 years in a superintendent or similar leadership role
- Strong expertise in single-ply systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen)
- Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites within the region
