Job Overview:
As a Low Voltage Project Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of low voltage projects, including planning, execution, and completion. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet our high standards for quality. Responsibilities
- Install and configure low voltage systems such as security alarms, access control systems, and data networks.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to diagnose issues and verify system functionality.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and wiring configurations.
- Repair or replace faulty components in low voltage equipment as necessary.
- Provide field service support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Familiarity with computer networking principles and practices.
- Experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals related to low voltage systems.
- Knowledge of computer hardware is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
