Job Overview:
As a Mechanical Superintendent at Nino Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical operations on construction sites. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other site personnel to ensure that all mechanical systems are installed and maintained according to the project specifications, schedule, and safety standards. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, on time, and with the highest level of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all mechanical installations and operations on job sites.
- Ensure that all mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) are installed according to project plans, codes, and specifications.
- Work closely with the project team to review construction documents, identify potential issues, and provide solutions to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead and coordinate mechanical subcontractors to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all safety regulations on the job site.
- Monitor and maintain quality control by inspecting work and ensuring it meets Nino Development's high standards.
- Maintain clear communication with the project manager, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and resolve any issues.
- Prepare and submit daily reports, documenting the progress of mechanical work and any challenges faced.
- Ensure that materials and equipment are available and properly organized for mechanical work.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in mechanical construction, with a focus on commercial or residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other related systems.
- Proven experience in supervising mechanical crews and subcontractors.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- OSHA certification is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites as required.
