We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (structural steel fabrication) to join our team in Milwaukee, WI. This is an exciting opportunity to manage large-scale construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design to fabrication and installation of structural steel components.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and project requirements are met.
- Supervise and mentor project teams, including fabricators, installers, and other construction professionals.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and quality control procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure project specifications are followed.
- Review and approve project submittals, shop drawings, and change orders.
- Manage and track project documentation, including contracts, permits, and invoices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the structural steel fabrication or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication processes, including cutting, welding, and assembly.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, and procurement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA certification and other relevant industry certifications are a plus.
