Job Description:
As a Quality Control Inspector (CWI) at Nino Development, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the quality of our construction projects, specifically focusing on welding and structural integrity. You will work alongside our construction team to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations while ensuring the highest quality control in all welding and construction processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and evaluate welding work, structural components, and materials to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards (AWS, ASME, etc.).
- Perform visual inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT), and other quality assessments of welding and construction work.
- Document inspection results, prepare reports, and track any discrepancies or necessary corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to address quality concerns and implement improvements.
- Enforce adherence to safety standards and regulations on all job sites.
- Ensure the quality of materials and workmanship aligns with the project’s specifications, ensuring the durability and safety of construction structures.
- Assist with training and mentoring of other quality control team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality control within the construction industry, with a focus on welding and structural inspection.
- Strong knowledge of construction codes and standards, including welding specifications (AWS, ASME).
- Experience conducting visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Prior experience in the construction sector or working on large-scale construction projects is a plus
