With a diverse portfolio of successful commercial developments, we are expanding our team in Charlotte, NC, and we are looking for a skilled Superintendent (Commercial Construction) to lead our construction projects with expertise and enthusiasm.

Position Overview:
You will be the driving force on-site, overseeing the day-to-day operations of commercial projects. You will ensure that projects are executed according to plan—on time, within budget, and with the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial construction and a passion for leading teams to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all on-site activities for commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and labor to ensure work is performed efficiently and in compliance with project specifications.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget by managing timelines, resources, and materials effectively.
• Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain project momentum.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth communication and alignment across all project phases.
• Enforce strict safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and the highest levels of safety for all team members.
• Review and approve daily reports, work plans, and construction schedules.
• Address any conflicts or challenges that arise on-site, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including quality control, safety reports, and daily logs.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide mentorship and leadership to field teams, creating a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction with a focus on multi-phase, large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, OSHA safety standards, and commercial project requirements.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire teams to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Solid experience in managing subcontractors, vendors, and field crews, ensuring high levels of performance and quality.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, able to anticipate challenges and proactively address issues.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Skilled in construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
• OSHA 30 or equivalent construction safety certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
