We are currently seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to join our team in Lincoln, NE, to oversee and manage commercial construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations on commercial construction job sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.
- Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accuracy and efficiency in execution.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain detailed daily logs and reports of job site activities, including progress, issues, and resolutions.
- Resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project scope, schedule, and quality.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and injuries on the job site.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment are available and in good condition to maintain project flow.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documentation.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety certifications are preferred.
