Trillium Construction is now hiring in David City, Nebraska!
Our client is a full-service design build general contractor serving in the agricultural and chemical processing industries. They specialize in mechanical systems including pipe fabrication and process equipment. They are now hiring for an Industrial Superintendent to help oversee a large processing facility in David City, Nebraska. This is a direct hire opportunity with an hourly rate of up to $36 plus TONS of overtime. The crew is currently working 7 days a week with about 60-70 hours weekly total. Medical benefits are at no cost to employee and family plus per diem is included of $120 daily.
Duties :
- Review project scope, budget, and schedule throughout the duration of the project to insure successful implementation and completion
- Provide input on design and constructability to Project Manager, as necessary.
- Review subcontracts for specific scopes, scheduling, and necessary specifications to manage subcontractor onsite activities.
- Prepare and submit daily time sheets, sign in sheets and construction reports with the corporate office staff.
- Arrange, prepare for, and hold regular jobsite meetings with field staff, field supervision, subcontractors, and other trades onsite to advise on upcoming activities, safety awareness and project progress.
- Oversee project material requisitions, both by making direct purchases and working with the Purchasing Manager at the corporate office on larger orders. Track materials received onsite and address any issues as they might arise. Oversee procurement to insure the three week look ahead is being prepared for.
- Track project progress on the appropriate lists and maintain communication with the Project Manager and Coordinator.
- Keep track of all changes to the project to ensure that any change is communicated to the Project Manager and Coordinator. Prepare and submit EWO forms to include documentation of the change, field photographs, associated purchase costs and invoices so that the appropriate change order requests can be generated and managed.
- When project is completed, assist with organizing all project documents for contract closeout and file storage.
