What are the responsibilities and job description for the Center Director position at Ninth District Opportunity?
The Head Start program is currently taking resumes’ to fill
the Rabun County Head Start Center Director position. This
position is responsible for coordinating all activities
within the Rabun County Head Start center to ensure all
phases of the program are in compliance with the Head Start
Performance Standards, Agency policies and procedures, DECAL
regulations, NAEYC guidelines and other applicable local,
state and federal regulations. The position supervises the
local center staff and represents the program within the
local community.
Interested persons must possess a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood
Education, Social Work, Business Administration, or related
field with a minimum of 6 months childcare experience;
experience managing and supervising; the ability to plan and
organize effectively; establish community partnerships;
communicate professionally both orally and in writing and
the ability to travel.
Salary commensurate with agency’s salary scale.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
