Wholesale Kitchen - Production Tech
The Wholesale Kitchen Production Tech plays a crucial role in the production of high-quality cannabis-infused edible products for brands like: Pucks, Everyday, & Decadent.. This position is responsible for food preparation, cooking, packaging, and ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces are clean and maintained according to food safety and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures accurately, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Brands in production include - Pucks, Everyday, Cloud 9, Decadent and More!
Essential Duties:
- Prep, cook, and package cannabis-infused edibles in accordance with recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Operate, clean, and maintain all kitchen equipment to ensure efficient and compliant production.
- Complete production orders consistently, maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Keep detailed and accurate records throughout the production process to ensure compliance and quality control.
- Implement and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, Food Safety, and Quality Assurance (QA) regulations.
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools.
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Properly handle and store cleaned equipment to prevent contamination.
- Regularly empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal practices.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines, including proper PPE usage and personal hygiene standards.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and report any maintenance or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and industry regulations for cannabis-infused product production.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food production, commercial kitchen operations, or dishwashing preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and compliance regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to consistency and quality.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required; at least one year of relevant experience preferred.
Additional Information or Requirements
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and move throughout the facility.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
