Position Summary:

Within a team environment, Design and Develop Sealing Products that meet or exceed our customer’s expectations, while simultaneously satisfying NISCO’s safety, quality, delivery, and profitability requirements. 

  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with our Customer and the NISCO Team to fully understand all requirements.
  • Visit Customer and NISCO locations, working collaboratively to achieve the requirements.
  • Develop and release high quality part drawings, within clearly defined schedules.
  • Support vehicle evaluation events, including performance testing, and resolve potential concerns. 
  • Identify special characteristics, including those determined by NISCO’s customers and the risk analysis performed by the organization: Documentation of all special characteristics in the drawings (as required); special characteristics are identified with specific markings and are cascaded through each of these documents. Compliance with customer-specified definitions and symbols or the organization's equivalent symbols or notations, as defined in a symbol conversion table. The symbol conversion table shall be submitted to the customer, if required.
  • Plan the stages and controls for design and development 

 Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science, Engineering (B.S.E).
  • Typically targeting 1-5 years of industry experience.
  • Open for learning, with guidance available and provided by our senior Team Members.
  • Basic CAD Software skills are preferred, primarily exposure to CATIA V5.
  • Computer / Microsoft / Remote-Meeting skills are required.

  Work Environment / Work Conditions:

  • Professional Office Environment.
  • Hybrid working policy.
  • Anticipate some travel to be required (10%-20%).
  • Follow PPE requirements for Customer and NISCO site visits.
  • Join alongside other Team Members, within an open and collaborative work environment.
