Job Summary
Provide detailed designs, estimates, and construction drawings for pipelines, measurement, regulation and related equipment. Collaborate with peers across NiSource and the industry to ensure effective technical solutions. Maintain strong communications and working relationships with various operating, engineering, and staff departments in an effort to provide needed technical support and direction.

Strong technical knowledge in measurement, pressure regulation, filtration, odorization, heaters, and transmission pipeline design
Understanding of construction practices and requirements in preparing construction drawings

Reliable and efficient technical support to local engineering and operations departments
Effective, knowledgeable, and safety conscious personnel
Safe, reliable design of the company's gas facilities
Compliance with operating company, state, and federal regulations
Essential Functions
- Design small scale pipeline, measurement and regulation facilities in conformance with Company Standards, industry standards, and federal codes
- Specify material and prepare material quotes for measurement, regulation and transmission facilities.
- Field visits to assess site conditions and provide technical guidance as part of the project design
- Provide technical assistance to local engineering and operations personnel during and after normal work hours, as required
- Promotes the necessary environment for effective customer satisfaction
- Actively seek and incorporate feedback from stakeholders related to job performance and support.
- Maintain customer-focused working relationships with Engineering and Operations.
- Align individual objectives with department goals and projects to ensure that corporate needs and objectives are met.
- Attend training and conferences related to functions performed by the department

67,900.00 - $165,300.00
