NEEDED: Certified Dental Hygienist
LOCATION: 37900 N. 45th Ave, Phoenix, AZ, 85086
HOURS: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8 hours per day with 30-minute lunch)
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, exclusive of holidays
QUALIFICATIONS: Supporting documents must be submitted with resume (thanks!)
- Required to be certified/licensed as a Dental Hygienist in any State and must submit photocopies of their license and/or board certification.
- Dental radiology certification and anesthesia certification are required.
- CPR certification is also required.
- A minimum of three years of experience is preferred.
DUTIES:
- Provide dental prophylaxis on inmates who are referred by medical unit staff.
- Provide thorough individualized oral hygiene instructions to each patient.
- Monitor oral hygiene and periodontal condition on each patient seen for dental prophylaxis.
- Assist the Chief Dentist and Staff Dentist when needed and/or necessary.
- Complete necessary dental x-rays as specified by the dentist.
- Sterilize instruments used for prophylaxis and other instruments as specified by the medical unit staff.
- Perform necessary paperwork related to dental healthcare and/or medical unit needs.
