Role Summary
We're seeking an experienced Material Planner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated individual with a strong technical background in material planning and procurement in an MRP environment. Your ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, while maintaining a growth mindset, will be essential to our continued success.
Academic Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics or related field required
- APICS certification (CSCP, CPIM) or equivalent a plus
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in material planning and procurement in an MRP
- environment is essential
- Proficiency with SAP is strongly preferred
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Supply Chain best practices is required
- Experience with S&OP processes is a plus
- Proven ability to apply statistical planning tools for inventory modeling, encompassing both seasonal and non-
- seasonal materials
- Comprehensive experience with inventory classifications and settings to optimize inventory levels is necessary
- Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across business functions are required
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
Essential Duties:
- Track and analyze key supply chain performance metrics including fill rates, inventory positions, and
- supplier performance, to identify trends and optimize operational efficiencies.
- Proactively analyze demand fluctuations and generate comprehensive management reports, providing
- actionable recommendations for strategic inventory adjustments.
- Implement and refine inventory classification methodologies (e.g., ABC/XYZ) and safety stock strategies
- to align inventory positions with defined KPI’s.
- Foster effective collaboration and maintain clear communication with Sales & Marketing, Operations and
- Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless alignment and execution.
- Lead and manage assigned projects and initiatives, demonstrating strong project management skills and
- driving successful outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and actively participate in cost reduction efforts
- to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

Pay: $56,500.00 - $64,000.00 per year
