What will you do as an accountant at Nitterhouse?
- Assist with journal entries and general ledger preparation
- Compile, analyze, and report financial data
- Assist with month end procedures
- Perform monthly budget analysis on active jobs
- Perform monthly inventory adjustments
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Contribute in the ongoing effort to reduce production costs
What are the knowledge, skills, and abilities we are looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; or
- Associate's degree in Accounting with 5 years of experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Where and when will you be working?
This position will operate out of our corporate office in Chambersburg, PA. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, from 8:00 to 4:30.
