Industrial Coatings Foreman

Position Title: Industrial Coatings Foreman

Business Unit: Field Coatings - Local

Location: Poseyville, IN

Reports To: Local Operations Manager

Under minimal supervision, perform routine and preventative maintenance, industrial coatings duties, and a full range of specialized painting projects including painting large structures in corrosive environments. Perform site inspections, manage field teams, and operate various tools and equipment.

Our ideal candidate will

• Operate, manage, maintain, and/or troubleshoot various equipment
• Surface Preparation: Hand Tools, Pressure Washers, Media Blasters
• Airless Sprayers: Gas Sprayers, Air Driven Sprayers, Electric Sprayers
• Conventional Sprayers: Pressure Pots
• Brushing and Rolling
• Use/navigate scaffold/lifts/staging (preferred, but not required...need to be willing to learn)
• Air compressors
• Dryers
• Can operate boom lift, fork truck, and skid steer
• Monitor atmospheric conditions to ensure proper application
• Maintain job site materials and supplies to ensure projects run efficiently
• Maintain safety standards in the performance of duties
• Maintain good condition and organization of company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Ensures all company values are adhered to and promoted through leading by example and creating an environment of trust and teamwork
• Participates in all requested job-related training and development, as well as taking an active interest in improving skills with other training programs
• Follows all company and common sense safety policies, while using all required personal protective equipment
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Desired Qualifications

• 5 years industrial coatings experience
• Weekly travel within a 3-4 hour radius may be required
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Ability to lead a 2-6 person crew
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment (forklifts, hydraulic lifts, etc.) (At various heights over 30’)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds as required without assistance
• Strong communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professionalism in the workplace
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to travel as needed
• Ability to perform work (as a working foreman)

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
