Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance is seeking a Commercial Insurance Client Relations Representative for our team. This person will service and manage a commercial lines book of business and aid our sales team in marketing and binding new accounts.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with customer service needs by corresponding and communicating via email and phone with clients, producers and insurance carriers.
- Maintain accurate data in the agency management system according to agency procedures.
- Process policy renewals, changes and cancellations.
- Prepare documents for new accounts including certificates, auto ID cards, evidence of insurance.
- Input transactions into Agency Management System to generate billing invoices and ensure that policies are delivered and/or mailed to client in a timely manner.
- Market new and renewal business to appropriate carriers as needed or requested, including preparing complete marketing submissions to the marketing department.
- Other responsibilities include reviewing audits, filing and monitoring open claims, marketing, binding, and bonding.

Preferred Requirements/Experience:
- 2 years of experience in the commercial lines insurance industry, preferably in an agency setting
- Market knowledge of rates, forms and coverage pertaining to commercial insurance accounts
- Missouri Property and Casualty Insurance license preferred.
- Required computer skills include a strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products including Word and Outlook along with the ability to utilize an agency management system.
Benefits:

The work hours are 8:30 - 5:00 weekdays with no evenings or weekends.
Salary : $37,500 - $51,000
