Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manages / leads staff assigned to projects in the design and construction of new transportation infrastructure.
- Directs consultants and manages design and construction services contracts for assigned capital program project(s).
- Formulates technical solutions to satisfy project(s) objectives with new or established engineering applications.
- Establishes and maintains project schedules for assigned capital program project(s).
- Provides inter-departmental coordination to ensure that assigned capital program project(s) is being built in compliance with the affected user-department specifications while maintaining the overall project objectives.
- Provides inter-agency coordination to ensure that assigned capital program project(s) are designed and constructed in compliance with the guidelines and requirements of federal, state, regional and municipal regulatory agencies.
- Establishes and maintains project budgets
- Prepares status reports, updates and presentations
