Roles and Responsibilities :
- Oversees and maintains the AP Supplier database, including entering and updating vendor information and providing quality control checks of all vendor adds and changes.
- Manages new AP Supplier accounts : collects banking details, assigs1099 codes, and adds check req sites.
- Ensures requests to AP Supplier and AP ACH mailboxes are answered daily.
- Trains and oversees Principal Accountant in initiative to convert supplier file payment methods form checks to ACH.
- Leads initiative to solicit ACH banking details form suppliers
- Manages vendor piece of converting suppliers to ePayables when vendor agrees to take payments via ePayables program
- Resolves ACH rejections.
- Runs 1099 exception reports throughout year and devises plan to address errors at the supplier level and invoice level.
- Runs 1099 data for year-end filing. Ensures that vendor reporting records are up to date and 1099 utility jobs have been run to clear remaining errors.
- Perform additional supplier database maintenance duties as need. .
