Job Description: Seasonal Ticket Agent
As a Seasonal Ticket Agent, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our bus services.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information about headways, routings, and other relevant details.
- Conduct financial transactions with customers, including selling tickets and processing payments.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including ticket sales and express reports.
- Announce departures and provide timely updates to customers.
Requirements:
- Must be fully available to work up to 40 hours on weekdays and weekends during peak season.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential.
- Previous experience in a cash-handling position is beneficial.
- Knowledge of NJ TRANSIT's bus operations is an asset.
