Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Jira Administrator to manage and optimize our Atlassian Jira platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting Jira and related applications to enhance team productivity and workflow automation.

Hybrid - Dallas, TX, Jersey City, NJ and Tampa, FL
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
- Develop and manage Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, dashboards, and reports
- Implement automation and integrations with third-party tools.
- Ensure system stability, security, and performance optimization.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls
- Troubleshoot and resolve Jira-related issues efficiently.
- Support Agile teams by creating and managing Scrum/Kanban boards and workflows.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement Jira solutions.
- Provide training and documentation for end-users and administrators.
- Stay up-to-date with Atlassian best practices and new features.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Jira Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, issue types, permissions, notifications, and automation.
- Experience with Jira Query Language (JQL) and scripting tools (e.g., ScriptRunner, Groovy).
- Familiarity with Atlassian ecosystem tools like Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and project management principles.
- Ability to integrate Jira with other enterprise applications using REST APIs.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
