Your Role:
The HR Manager reporting to the Director of HR will be responsible for direct management of staff and managers in the Westwood Office. This role is vital in ensuring that the organization’s workforce operates efficiently, effectively, and in harmony. Responsibilities include managing staffing, handling employee relations, overseeing performance management, coordinating training and development, ensuring legal compliance, and managing compensation and benefits. You will develop and implement HR strategies, foster a positive workplace culture, and utilize HR metrics for decision-making.
What will you do?
- Act as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, addressing workplace issues confidentially and promptly.
- Manage and lead employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, coaching, policy interpretation, and ensuring a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and delivering Performance Improvement Plans.
- Track and record 30, 60, and 90-day reviews for new hires.
- Partner with business leaders to complete annual performance management processes, fostering feedback, accountability, and professional growth.
- Act as a mentor and coach, addressing challenges proactively. Foster a culture of collaboration while ensuring clear communication of expectations and priorities.
- Collaborate with management teams to understand hiring requirements and support recruitment needs
- Provide guidance and consultations on employee leave of absence matters.
- Participate in the evaluation and review of the employee compensation process.
- Ensure HR policies comply with employment laws and promote best practices.
- 10% - 20% travel is required

- Ensure accuracy in documentation, compliance with laws, and adherence to company policies.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and practice ethical decision-making.
- Familiarity with HR information systems, payroll software, and recruitment platforms.
- Understanding of employment laws, labor standards, and industry regulations.
- Ability to design and implement employee training programs

Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• A master’s degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other Business related field
- 1 or more years working in a Business Management environment
- 1 or more years of experience working in an Accounts Payable Department
- 1 or more years of QuickBooks, Eton, or AgilLink experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Standing, walking, crouching, and regular lifting up to 15 pounds
- Frequent use of hands and reaching with hands and arms
- Regularly talking, hearing, seeing, and sitting
- Moderate to loud noise level
- Risk of electrical shock
Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000 and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and location.
