Description
We are looking for a Medical Assistant, preferably with 1-2 years' experience as an MA, to work 5 days per week (Monday through Friday), in our Salinas clinic. Job duties include, but are not limited to: answering phones, scheduling appointments, taking vitals, gathering patient history, doing injections, filing records and assisting physicians. The position is temporary through an estimated date of January 2025, with possibility of an extension.
Requirements
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish languages
- Strong computer skills (MS office) a must.
- Current CPR BLS certification preferred
- Must be organized, detail oriented, flexible, and have the ability to multi-task.
- Must be dependable and reliable with excellent attendance.
- Experience with EMR and medical management software a strong plus.
