Position Summary

The Manager, Product Enablement leads a team of Business Process Improvement Consultants within MDPO, supporting low-code/no-code functionalities on platforms like WalkMe, Asana, and other SaaS tools. This role will shape the strategy and development priorities of enablement products, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and adapt to evolving business needs. A key focus is on enhancing business process efficiency through intuitive, scalable solutions, requiring close collaboration with product teams and adherence to best practices and standards. This is a remote position (US).

Accountabilities

Product Vision and Strategy:

  • Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategic plan for enablement products in collaboration with the Sr Manager, Business Process Improvement, and key stakeholders.
  • Represent the interests of leadership and end users of the product team, ensuring alignment with business strategies and enterprise infrastructure needs.
  • Identify and prioritize enablement use cases for maximum organizational benefit, driving execution and adoption.


Product Development And Delivery

  • Own the product roadmap and release plans, ensuring the delivery of high-value functionalities.
  • Lead backlog refinement, prioritizing development work to deliver the highest business value and ROI.
  • Actively participate in delivery team ceremonies, including planning, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure adherence to release deployment and critical incident processes to maximize system stability and uptime.
  • Collaborate with other product team owners to manage dependencies and ensure cohesive product development across the organization, when applicable.
  • Maintain compliance with NMDP standards, including the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), when applicable.


Team Leadership

  • Oversee a team responsible for building declarative, business-oriented functionality with various SaaS platforms.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Set goals and track team performance to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality enablement solutions.


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a liaison between the enablement team and other business units, establishing strong relationships to understand stakeholder objectives, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with product and business goals.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and feedback sessions with stakeholders to gather insights, provide updates, and adjust priorities in response to evolving needs, ensuring solutions remain relevant and valuable.
  • Engage in a consultative approach with stakeholders, assessing their needs and recommending tailored solutions that maximize impact and demonstrate clear ROI, fostering adoption and driving business success.
  • Promote the value of enablement tools and solutions by effectively communicating benefits and usage strategies, empowering stakeholders to fully leverage available resources while ensuring continuous improvement based on their feedback.


Continuous Improvement

  • Drive the deployment and ongoing improvement of enablement solutions, ensuring ease of use, scalability, and alignment with user needs.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains across enablement tools.
  • Monitor usage data and user feedback to refine and optimize the tools and processes.
  • Stay up to date with new product features, trends and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.


Required Qualifications

Knowledge of:

  • Low-code/no-code SaaS platforms (e.g., WalkMe, Asana), project management tools, and enablement frameworks.
  • Cross-functional communication and project management practices, including tools like Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Instagantt, and Jira.
  • Business process optimization, Agile and lean methodologies (including backlog management and iterative development), and software development life cycle (SDLC) standards.


Ability To

  • Lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of packaged applications such as WalkMe Strategize and execute product roadmaps, aligning them with organizational goals.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Facilitate cross-functional initiatives and manage vendor relationships.
  • Guide teams in developing solutions that maximize efficiency and meet business needs.
  • Work within and adapt to an Agile methodology for successful team operations.
  • Communicate complex business and technology concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Possess a strong personal work ethic with a commitment to quality and continual improvement.
  • Identify and prioritize solutions that align with organizational needs.


Education And/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in a product ownership or enablement role, with a focus on SaaS platforms.
  • 1-2 years of experience leading a team
  • Experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment where enablement tools play a key role in scaling business operations.
  • Strong understanding of packaged applications and their deployment.
  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms, including WalkMe and their application in business solutions.
  • Experience defining and prioritizing requirements in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with user experience (UX) design principles.
  • Knowledge of integration and automation tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)

  • Experience leading teams and managing enablement solutions within large organizations.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce functionality, including declarative customization capabilities.
  • Certification in relevant project management or product ownership methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, PMP).
